If you move a pick from a future year, you pay that year's dues.

If you can set the precedent of paying it forward a year if someone plans on leaving the league, I definitely would. Makes it much easier to find someone to take that team on, and erases any ambiguity about restrictions on moving future picks.

I think it depends on format and league economy. In a vacuum WR for longer shelf life
